Job Overview

We are hiring for an IT Support Engineer to provide support services to all of the company’s clients according to the terms and conditions of the business.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Diagnosing and Troubleshooting Laptops and Computers.
  • Maintaining hardware and software.
  • Installing, modifying, and repairing hardware and software components.
  • Planning, installing, configuring, supporting Windows OS, and Authorized Vendor hardware (PCs/Notebooks).
  • Providing L1 and L2 support to clients (remote and on-site).
  • Conducting day-to-day operations, maintenance, upgrades of infrastructure solutions.
  • Monitoring and maintaining records of daily installations and warranty orders.
  • Maintaining professional customer service during implementation.
  • Responding to inquiries from clients, staff, service providers and vendors to provide technical assistance and support.
  • Completing any other duties as assigned by Management.

Skills & Qualifications

  • University Degree in the field of Computer Engineering, Electrical/ Electronic Engineer or a related field or College Degree in IT/ Engineering related fields.
  • Minimal 1-2 years or more information technology experience with an emphasis on Windows platforms.
  • Hands on experience on Laptops/ Computers.
  • Knowledge and experience on Microsoft 365, Active Directory and DNS/ DHCP will be considered an advantage.
  • Networking/ Routing understanding and basic skills.

Remuneration

PRE-EMPLOYMENT CANDIDATE PRIVACY NOTICE FOR MEDICAL ASSESSMENT BEFORE HIRING

You agree that subject to the completion of the recruitment process and provided that you receive a conditional offer for employment, you will go through a Fit-For-Work assessment by the Company’s Doctor. The Doctor defines the medical tests needed and performs the examination. You will need to sign a Data Privacy consent with the Company Doctor. The Company Doctor will provide a Fit-For-Work assessment with possible comments to the Company. This assessment will be one of the elements taken into consideration for providing a final offer. Other elements include but are not limited of, verification of the educational certifications, the references, and the work permits (if applicable).

Logicom will keep the Fit-For-Work assessment as part of your HR records if your Employment Contract is signed. If the Employment Contract is not signed, the Fit-For-Work assessment will be destroyed upon such confirmation.
