Credit Controller - NewCytech - Nicosia, Cyprus

Job Overview

We are currently recruiting for a Credit Controller who will be mainly responsible for chasing up customers on a systematic basis in order to collect from them due balances to the company, aiming to collect from the customers all invoices in accordance with their due dates.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Approving/ releasing Sales Orders from customers.
  • Analysing receivables and communication on a daily and systematic basis with customers for collections.
  • Organizing logistics with messengers for collections from customers.
  • Liaising with Account Managers to solve discrepancies with customers.
  • Preparing monthly collection budgets and reporting variances to Financial Controller.
  • Communicating to management and Account Managers issues related to problematic customers.
  • Referring cases to our legal advisors and monitoring progress of proceedings.
  • Handling ad-hoc queries on a daily basis from customers and colleagues related to the account balances and amounts due.
  • Handling the process of issuing credit notes to customers.
  • Conducting Stamp Duty Administration.
  • Obtaining from various government authorities certificates required by Contracting Authorities for contracts won.
  • Any other tasks assigned by Supervisor (Chief Accountant / Financial Manager).

Skills & Qualifications

  • LCCI degree in Accounting will be considered an advantage.
  • Experience in credit control or other related disciplines.
  • Experience in the IT business will be considered an advantage.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in Greek and English.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
  • Knowledge of Navision software will be considered as advantage.
  • Organizational & time management skills.
  • Analytical skills.
  • Strong Team Player.
  • Excellent Interpersonal and communication Skills.

Chief Accountant

Remuneration

PRE-EMPLOYMENT CANDIDATE PRIVACY NOTICE FOR MEDICAL ASSESSMENT BEFORE HIRING

You agree that subject to the completion of the recruitment process and provided that you receive a conditional offer for employment, you will go through a Fit-For-Work assessment by the Company’s Doctor. The Doctor defines the medical tests needed and performs the examination. You will need to sign a Data Privacy consent with the Company Doctor. The Company Doctor will provide a Fit-For-Work assessment with possible comments to the Company. This assessment will be one of the elements taken into consideration for providing a final offer. Other elements include but are not limited of, verification of the educational certifications, the references, and the work permits (if applicable).

Logicom will keep the Fit-For-Work assessment as part of your HR records if your Employment Contract is signed. If the Employment Contract is not signed, the Fit-For-Work assessment will be destroyed upon such confirmation.
