Job Overview

We are hiring for a Network Engineer to join our Team in Athens. The Network Engineer will be responsible for designing, configuring, and maintaining secure, high-performance network solutions across multi-site environments. The Network Engineer will also serve as a key technical contact for clients, supporting network operations and collaborating on solution design and implementation.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Designing and configurating LAN switching, IP routing, network security.
  • Acting as the primary customer technical contact.
  • Responding to inquiries from clients, staff, service providers and vendors to provide technical assistance and support.
  • Maintaining multi-site network operations.
  • Being an active member of the Networking Solution Design and Delivery Teams.
  • Carrying out site surveys and audits.
  • Providing accurate feedback to the rest of the Team with regards to customer requirements and required changes.
  • Achieving reliable, timely and high-quality design and deployment work, troubleshooting malfunctions of network hardware and security systems to resolve operational issues and restore services and being able to accurately diagnose root-cause.
  • Developing configuration documents.
  • Performing any other duties as assigned by management.

Skills & Qualifications

  • ≥ 3 years of hands-on experience as a Networking Engineer.
  • Wide know-how of ICT field and networking in particular.
  • Good knowledge and understanding of the Cisco Switching, Routing and the associated ecosystem.
  • Any certifications in Cisco Networking (e.g. CCNA or CCNP or equivalent) would be considered as an advantage.
  • Good working knowledge of the following protocols and technologies: TCP/IP, Ethernet, OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, Quality of Service, all STP variants, HSRP / VRRP, SD-WAN.
  • Familiarity with using Network Management tools.
  • Familiarity with industry’s best practices and international, national and industry standards.
  • Team player.
  • Fluency in both Greek and English.

Remuneration

PRE-EMPLOYMENT CANDIDATE PRIVACY NOTICE FOR MEDICAL ASSESSMENT BEFORE HIRING

You agree that subject to the completion of the recruitment process and provided that you receive a conditional offer for employment, you will go through a Fit-For-Work assessment by the Company’s Doctor. The Doctor defines the medical tests needed and performs the examination. You will need to sign a Data Privacy consent with the Company Doctor. The Company Doctor will provide a Fit-For-Work assessment with possible comments to the Company. This assessment will be one of the elements taken into consideration for providing a final offer. Other elements include but are not limited of, verification of the educational certifications, the references, and the work permits (if applicable).

Logicom will keep the Fit-For-Work assessment as part of your HR records if your Employment Contract is signed. If the Employment Contract is not signed, the Fit-For-Work assessment will be destroyed upon such confirmation.
