Job Overview

We are hiring a Field Technician to join our Team in Athens. The Field Technician will be responsible for installing and configuring telephone devices at stakeholder sites. The Field Technician will also assist technical teams with networking‑related tasks.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Installing and configuring telephone devices at stakeholder sites as part of the SYZEFXIS II project.
• Basic troubleshooting of telephony equipment, including connectivity checks, device registration, and functionality testing.
• Assisting technical Teams with networking‑related tasks, such as checking network points, verifying cable routing, and supporting simple switch or router configurations under guidance.
• Collaborating with field technicians to ensure smooth integration of telephony and network services at each location.
• Installation of the Publicity Sign at each stakeholder’s premises.

Skills & Qualifications

• Technical Vocational Certification in Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related field (a Bachelor’s degree is considered an asset but not required).
• 1-2 years of experience in a similar position will be considered an advantage.
• Ability to use basic tools (e.g., screwdrivers, drills) safely for mounting equipment and signage.
• Comfort with field work and travel to multiple stakeholder locations in Athens.
• Good communication skills for coordinating visits and interacting with stakeholders.
• Ability to follow technical instructions and company procedures accurately.
• Strong attention to detail for documenting installations (photos, reports, forms).
• Basic troubleshooting skills, especially for connectivity or device‑related issues.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to manage travel expenses per company guidelines.
