Group Chief Financial Officer - Logicom Public - Nicosia, Cyprus

Job Overview

Logicom Public Limited, a leading international Information Technology Group, with operations in Cyprus, the Middle East, North Africa and Europe, and with investments in a Cyprus-based Investment Company and in Desalination Projects, is seeking to appoint an experienced and commercially oriented Group Chief Financial Officer.

The Group Chief Financial Officer role will have the overall responsibility for the accounting and financial management of the Group and will provide strategic financial leadership and support to the Group Chief Executive Officer, Board of Directors and senior management team.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Executing financial strategies aligned with the organization's overall goals and objectives.

• Monitoring compliance with local financial regulations and statutory reporting requirements

and legislations across the Group, including Tax, VAT, Transfer Pricing, Global Minimum Tax

Rate under Pillar 2 and other.

• Retaining an overview and providing support and monitoring of Group’s annual audits.

• Monitoring accounting processes across the Group and suggesting or implementing change

and improvements where necessary.

•  Monitoring and providing guidance to subsidiaries for the preparation and timely submission of

the monthly management accounts.

• Ensuring that internal policies and procedures are followed by Accounting and Finance

departments across the Group.

• Leading the development and documentation of business processes and accounting policies to

maintain and strengthen internal controls.

• Providing support in the preparation of financial and operational risk analysis reports and the

annual budgets.

•  Monitoring Group’s working capital and operational overheads and ensuring the most efficient

allocation of resources.

•  Being part of the approval hierarchy for operational matters, such as supplier and custome

order processing, and payments.

•  Any other financial and/ or operational duties that can be assigned by the Management.

Qualifications & Skills

·       University degree in Accounting, Finance or other related fields.

·       Member of ACCA or ACA or CPA or any other professional association.

·       A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar or related position is required.

·       Previous experience with international and corporate tax, transfer pricing and VAT is required.

·       Excellent knowledge of Greek and English language.

·       Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

·       Strong interpersonal skills, professional attitude and detail-oriented.

·       Ability to multi-task, communicate progress and meet deadlines.

·       Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality and professional discretion.

·    Confidence in interacting with and influencing individuals at all levels within or outside the organization.
