Job Overview

The Cloud Solutions Architect designs and leads the delivery of secure, scalable cloud solutions across Microsoft Azure, AWS, and multi‑cloud environments. The role translates business requirements into well‑architected solutions, guides and gets involved in customer implementations, and ensures alignment with cloud best practices, security standards, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Pre‑Sales & Solution Scoping

•Support partner and customer pre‑sales cycles by providing technical expertise during qualification, scoping, and design phases.
•Conduct technical discovery sessions, requirements analysis, and cloud readiness assessments.
•Develop and validate solution proposals, Statements of Work (SOWs), and high‑level architectures for partner-led opportunities.
•Present cloud strategies, architectures, and value propositions to technical and business stakeholders.


Architecture Design & Governance
•Create end‑to‑end cloud architectures, reference blueprints, and solution frameworks.
•Ensure solutions adhere to best practices in security, compliance, performance, scalability, and cost optimization.
•Conduct architecture reviews, validate partner and customer designs, and ensure governance across the delivery lifecycle.
•Provide guidance on modern architectures including cloud-native, hybrid, data/AI, and DevOps environments.


Professional Services Delivery Excellence (Hands-on)
•Define delivery methodologies, best practices, and frameworks for cloud engagements.
•Drive consistency and quality across all customer projects delivered through partners or internal teams.
•Monitor project health, mitigate risks, and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the delivery cycle.
•Champion continuous improvement across services delivery, including playbooks, accelerators, and reusable assets.
•Communicating with partners/ clients to understand their cloud infrastructure needs and requirements.
•Providing expert advice on cloud best practices and potential optimizations.
•Deliver customer‑facing cloud implementation professional services, ensuring solutions are aligned with architectural best practices, security standards, and customer business outcomes.


Partner Collaboration & Technical Enablement
•Serve as a trusted advisor to technology partners, enabling their technical teams on cloud architectures and delivery best practices.
•Conduct technical workshops, architectural deep dives, and enablement programs for partners.
•Collaborate with partner leadership to accelerate customer cloud adoption and build repeatable cloud offerings.
•Support partners in developing their technical competencies, certifications, and solution maturity.


Innovation & Thought Leadership
•Stay current with evolving cloud technologies, architectural patterns, and industry trends.
•Introduce innovative approaches to solution design, automation, modernization, and AI-driven cloud capabilities.
•Contribute to internal knowledge repositories, reference architectures, and strategic cloud initiatives.


Documentation & Knowledge Sharing
•Ensure high-quality documentation for architectures, operational models, designs, and project deliverables.
•Promote knowledge sharing within the architect community and across partner ecosystems.
•Maintain documentation for reusable templates, solution blueprints, and delivery methodologies.


Skills & Qualifications:

•University Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Master’s degree in a related field will be considered as an advantage.
•Proficiency in cloud services with expertise in Microsoft Azure or AWS, or OCI.
•Certifications like AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Oracle OCI Architect, or a plan to acquire the missing certifications.
•Strong communication skills.
•Experience in project management is desired.
•Ability to work well in a team.
•Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.

PRE-EMPLOYMENT CANDIDATE PRIVACY NOTICE FOR MEDICAL ASSESSMENT BEFORE HIRING

You agree that subject to the completion of the recruitment process and provided that you receive a conditional offer for employment, you will go through a Fit-For-Work assessment by the Company’s Doctor. The Doctor defines the medical tests needed and performs the examination. You will need to sign a Data Privacy consent with the Company Doctor. The Company Doctor will provide a Fit-For-Work assessment with possible comments to the Company. This assessment will be one of the elements taken into consideration for providing a final offer. Other elements include but are not limited of, verification of the educational certifications, the references, and the work permits (if applicable).

Logicom will keep the Fit-For-Work assessment as part of your HR records if your Employment Contract is signed. If the Employment Contract is not signed, the Fit-For-Work assessment will be destroyed upon such confirmation.
