Job Overview
We are hiring for a Marketing Officer to join our Cisco Central Team. The Marketing Officer will play a key role in supporting Cisco-focused marketing initiatives that drive demand, enhance brand visibility, and strengthen partner engagement across the EMEA region.
This position involves planning, executing and optimizing marketing activities, while ensuring accurate handling of Cisco marketing development funds, from activity proposal and claim submission to payment coordination and compliance. The role also includes administrative responsibilities, collaboration with cross-functional Teams and meticulous reporting to ensure full transparency and fund accountability.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Managing the full lifecycle of Cisco marketing funds, from proposal and approval to claiming and payment processing.
- Planning and delivering marketing campaigns, partner enablement programs and end-to-end event management.
- Managing content creation (web content, newsletters, social media and press releases etc.) ensuring all materials meet brand and messaging standards.
- Assisting with vendor and company portal updates, marketing asset management, and logistics coordination for events and campaigns.
- Coordinating with Cisco Teams, partners, and internal departments to ensure alignment, smooth execution and compliance.
- Handling marketing administration, including documentation, approvals, budget tracking and reporting (campaign performance, ROI, and fund utilization).
- Supporting the regional/ country Teams with their marketing plans and activity execution, ensuring compliance with vendor and company guidelines.
- Supporting the marketing manager with presentations, reports, and quarterly reviews.
Skills & Qualifications
- University Graduate in Marketing, Business Administration or in another Business-related field.
- Graduate profiles or preferably candidates with minimum 2 years of marketing experience, (ideally within IT distribution or vendor environments).
- Proven ability to manage or be part of simultaneous projects to successful completion under tight deadlines.
- Comprehensive knowledge of marketing principles, concepts, and methodologies.
- Excellent knowledge of the English language.
- Strong administrative and coordination skills, with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with CRM or marketing tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proactive, detail-oriented with analytical mindset and strong ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
