Job Overview

The Analytics Engineer will design, build, and optimize the data models, transformations, and reporting layer that power the Group’s analytics ecosystem. This role sits at the intersection of data engineering and BI development, ensuring that highquality, wellmodelled data flows seamlessly from the Groups Data Warehouse into businessready dashboards, reports, and analytical products.

The Analytics Engineer will play a key role in initiating and implementing the reporting component of the Group’s Data Warehouse, shaping both the technical foundation and the analytical outputs used across the organization.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Designing and maintaining scalable semantic models (star schemas, dimensional models, marts) to support reporting and analytics.
  • Building and optimizing data pipelines, transformations, and workflows using SQLbased or modern ELT tools.
  • Creating dashboards, reports, and KPIs using the organization’s BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, etc.).
  • Implementing validation, testing, and monitoring to ensure accuracy and reliability of analytical datasets.
  • Working closely with business Teams to translate requirements into data models and reporting solutions.
  • Tuning SQL queries, pipelines, and BI models for speed and efficiency.
  • Maintaining clear documentation of data models, transformations, and reporting logic.
  • Supporting standards for naming conventions, lineage, and metadata.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong SQL expertise and experience with largescale Data Warehouses.
  • Handson experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, Looker, etc.).
  • Experience with ETL/ ELT tools or frameworks (dbt, SSIS, ADF, Airflow, etc.).
  • Solid understanding of dimensional modelling and analyticsoriented data design.
  • Ability to work independently on complex data problems and deliver endtoend solutions.
  • Experience collaborating with business stakeholders and translating requirements into technical outputs.
  • Experience with cloud data platforms (Azure, Snowflake, BigQuery), will be considered an advantage.
  • Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI/CD for analytics, will be considered an advantage.
  • Knowledge of Python for data processing, will be considered an advantage.

PRE-EMPLOYMENT CANDIDATE PRIVACY NOTICE FOR MEDICAL ASSESSMENT BEFORE HIRING

You agree that subject to the completion of the recruitment process and provided that you receive a conditional offer for employment, you will go through a Fit-For-Work assessment by the Company’s Doctor. The Doctor defines the medical tests needed and performs the examination. You will need to sign a Data Privacy consent with the Company Doctor. The Company Doctor will provide a Fit-For-Work assessment with possible comments to the Company. This assessment will be one of the elements taken into consideration for providing a final offer. Other elements include but are not limited of, verification of the educational certifications, the references, and the work permits (if applicable).

Logicom will keep the Fit-For-Work assessment as part of your HR records if your Employment Contract is signed. If the Employment Contract is not signed, the Fit-For-Work assessment will be destroyed upon such confirmation.
