Job Overview
The Cloud Business Development Manager will have overall responsibility for enabling the sales of Cloud related products and services across the Romania market.
Responsibilities include building a long-term sustainable go to market plan and sales plan. This may also include a significant number of high volume, short cycle style transactions. The person will also oversee the development and closure of all Cloud led deals.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Accelerating the adoption of Cloud services.
- Supporting defined and new accounts/ partners in their partnership journey.
- Developing long-term strategic relationships with key stakeholders of the partners’ organizations (Technical and CXO level).
- Collaborating with Cloud resources (Solution Architects, Sales, Support teams) to support customer interests.
- Turning products into innovative solutions with strong business cases that convince clients to invest in cloud products and services, establishing strong consultant-like relationships with partners.
- Profitably delivering Hardware, Software and Services to clients against revenue sales and margin contribution targets for the Romanian national market.
- Supporting the development of the sales strategy, providing the design, gathering resources and helping closing deals.
- Ensuring customer and partner needs are represented and reflected in the market.
- Keeping up to date with the latest technology and business trends, and actively showcasing cloud capabilities in a clear and distinctive way.
- Handling local escalations and participating directly in complex sales situations.
- Submitting activity and results reports to the Management, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual analyses.
- Monitoring competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, sales and marketing tactics, to include recommended changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating campaign results and competitive developments.
Skills & Qualifications
- Technical Degree preferred (Computer Science, Maths, Engineering or equivalent).
- IaaS, PaaS, or SaaS cloud related selling experience.
- Cloud related certifications.
- Sales or pre-sales experience in B2B environments, in a solution-selling / technology-related environment.
- Proven track record of growth and quota achievement.
- Ability to work independently and autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to drive projects to completion.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in local language and in English.
- Excellent presentation skills.
