Job Overview
We are hiring for a Product Manager to handle all the product management functions related to HPInc Supplies.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Handling of inventory ensuring optimum level of product availability and minimum TAT to serve market.
- Managing and driving sales activities of the brand.
- Meeting major customers on regular intervals and promoting products.
- Developing relationship with key stakeholders within the vendor.
- Generating, tracking and reporting sales proposals and leads. Following up on projects and closing deals.
- Reaching to new partners and maximizing awareness.
- Conducting pricing management, to ensure products are competitive in the market by maximizing vendor programs and promotion matrix.
- Initiating and driving activities to reduce counterfeit products in the market.
- Ensuring business is executed to meet defined KPI’s.
- Managing Gross Profit threshold.
- Negotiating at local vendor level additional incentive/ promotion funds.
- Tracking and ensuring rebate claims are processed and received.
- Tracking and claiming any other additional fund offered by the vendor.
- Preparing and submitting relevant reports to the Management Team.
- Continuously maintaining an updated view on the product updates and roadmap to ensure expected level of product knowledge and product accreditations.
- Delivering on a monthly basis the revenue forecast.
- Interacting very closely and on a daily basis with the accounts to ensure they are ready and well enabled to promote and sell Logicom specific HP line of products.
- Developing the core positioning and messaging for the product.
- Performing product demos and product presentations to customers.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor degree preferably in Information Technology related fields.
- At least 5 years’ experience in Product Management, ideally within the IT distribution business.
- Knowledge of the Moroccan market, and channel partner network handling relevant products.
- Basic understanding of product lifecycle management, demand and supply planning.
- Inventory management skills.
- Good understanding of distribution business standards with hands on knowledge of managing WOS, calculating inventory turns etc.
- Knowledge of compliance programs in relation to counterfeits.
- Planning skills.
- Leadership skills coupled with presentation skills and negotiation tactics.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
