Junior Accountant, Receivables & Credit Administration - Logicom Distribution - Casablanca, Morocco

Job Overview

The Junior Accountant will join the Finance Department of Logicom in Morocco.

The Junior Accountant will provide day-to-day accounting and credit administration support, focusing on transactional processing, documentation, and operational finance tasks.

This position is designed to support the Finance Manager and Credit Control function by handling routine accounting and credit-related administrative duties, allowing senior roles to focus on analysis, controls, and decision-making.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Performing basic bookkeeping and posting of routine accounting transactions under supervision.
• Maintaining accounting records, filing, and supporting documentation.
• Assisting with posting customer invoices, supplier invoices, expenses, and bank transactions to the ERP system.
• Supporting basic reconciliations and assisting with month-end activities as required.
• Assisting with customer account set-up and maintenance in the ERP system.
• Preparing and issuing invoices, statements of account, and related customer documentation.
• Supporting monitoring of outstanding balances and preparation of customer reconciliations under guidance from Credit Control or Finance Management.
• Providing day-to-day administrative support to the Finance Manager and senior finance staff.
• Assisting with audit preparation and internal documentation when required.
• Carrying out other basic finance related and administrative duties as assigned by management.

Skills & Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in accounting, finance administration, or credit control support.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
• Planning and time management skills.
• Analytical skills.
• Strong Team Player.
• Excellent Interpersonal Skills.
• The capacity to handle more than one decision-reporting centre.
