Job Overview

We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to join our Team in NewCytech, Nicosia. The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for the delivery of IT-related projects and/ or work-streams. This job entails the initiation and coordination of projects, the conduction of project reviews as prescribed by the company PMO standards, the management of project execution, and the successful closure of the Project.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Managing projects from initiation to roll-out, interacting with all stakeholders.
  • Driving the successful delivery of simultaneous projects and initiatives.
  • Creating, managing, and maintaining a project control book, including project plans, key milestones, critical success factors, and other KPIs for all projects.
  • Controlling and monitoring the project including project financials to ensure efficient delivery and adhering to the business case.
  • Identifying and managing project risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Effectively engaging and managing subcontractors/ partners, focusing on strong delivery capability and cost efficiency opportunities for the project.
  • Managing projects in accordance with the company PMO standards, methods, and procedures.
  • Fostering a collaborative and productive project Team
  • Building effective working relationships with all major project stakeholders as well as colleagues and with third parties to gain their commitment, support, and resource to deliver project work.
  • Continuously improving project management processes and best practices.
  • Providing mentoring to more junior PMs.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in an IT related field preferably in Computer Science or Engineering.
  • At least 4 years of project management experience with a proven track record of successfully managing complex IT/ business projects with an element of business change.
  • A project management certification is highly desirable (e.g. Prince II, PMP etc.).
  • Sound technical knowledge and expertise in IT and/or business project management.
  • Proficient use of a Project scheduling tool.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, empathy, integrity, enthusiasm, determination, and resilience.
  • Able to demonstrate advanced stakeholder management skills across a range of different stakeholders from IT personnel to Management.
  • Strong leadership & excellent team building skills, including the ability to work effectively with hybrid Teams.
  • Must have a tenacious approach to problem solving, constantly striving for effective solutions.
  • Strong negotiating and influencing skills.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and remain cool and composed under pressure.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills in Greek and English.

Reporting to

Project Management Office Director.

Remuneration

PRE-EMPLOYMENT CANDIDATE PRIVACY NOTICE FOR MEDICAL ASSESSMENT BEFORE HIRING

You agree that subject to the completion of the recruitment process and provided that you receive a conditional offer for employment, you will go through a Fit-For-Work assessment by the Company’s Doctor. The Doctor defines the medical tests needed and performs the examination. You will need to sign a Data Privacy consent with the Company Doctor. The Company Doctor will provide a Fit-For-Work assessment with possible comments to the Company. This assessment will be one of the elements taken into consideration for providing a final offer. Other elements include but are not limited of, verification of the educational certifications, the references, and the work permits (if applicable).

Logicom will keep the Fit-For-Work assessment as part of your HR records if your Employment Contract is signed. If the Employment Contract is not signed, the Fit-For-Work assessment will be destroyed upon such confirmation.
