Job Overview

The Cloud Solutions Architect (multi-cloud) plays a critical role in overseeing cloud infrastructure design, deployment, and management of various cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Oracle OCI.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Communicating with partners/clients to understand their cloud infrastructure needs and requirements.
  • Providing expert advice on cloud best practices and potential optimizations.
  • Overseeing the design, deployment, and management of cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure and AWS platforms.
  • Regularly reviewing and updating cloud infrastructure as needed.
  • Applying proficiency in cloud services from Microsoft Azure, AWS, and/or Oracle OCI.
  • Staying updated with the latest cloud technologies and trends.
  • Leading cloud-related projects and ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
  • Coordinating with other teams to ensure cloud infrastructure is integrated throughout all projects.
  • Collaborating with other team members to enhance cloud infrastructure.
  • Sharing knowledge and insights about cloud technologies and trends.
  • Regularly testing cloud infrastructure to ensure it is working as expected.
  • Identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
  • Documenting all cloud infrastructure protocols and measures clearly and accurately.
  • Maintaining records of cloud infrastructure incidents and responses.
  • Responding quickly and effectively to any cloud infrastructure issues or incidents.
  • Identifying the cause of the issue and implementing measures to prevent future occurrences.

Skills & Qualifications

  • University Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Master’s degree in a related field will be considered as an advantage.
  • Proficiency in cloud services with expertise in Microsoft Azure or AWS, or OCI.
  • Certifications like AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Oracle OCI Architect, or a plan to acquire the missing certifications.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Experience in project management is desired.
  • Ability to work well in a team.
  • Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.

Remuneration

PRE-EMPLOYMENT CANDIDATE PRIVACY NOTICE FOR MEDICAL ASSESSMENT BEFORE HIRING

You agree that subject to the completion of the recruitment process and provided that you receive a conditional offer for employment, you will go through a Fit-For-Work assessment by the Company’s Doctor. The Doctor defines the medical tests needed and performs the examination. You will need to sign a Data Privacy consent with the Company Doctor. The Company Doctor will provide a Fit-For-Work assessment with possible comments to the Company. This assessment will be one of the elements taken into consideration for providing a final offer. Other elements include but are not limited of, verification of the educational certifications, the references, and the work permits (if applicable).

Logicom will keep the Fit-For-Work assessment as part of your HR records if your Employment Contract is signed. If the Employment Contract is not signed, the Fit-For-Work assessment will be destroyed upon such confirmation.

We process the above data as part of the preparation to enter into a legal agreement.
