Job Overview

The Sales Manager will have the overall responsibility to manage the Clients for Logicom Bahrain and to ensure the successful execution of Logicom’s strategy, and the achievements of the Company’s objectives and deliverables across the country.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assuming complete ownership of the Company’s P&L budgets for the Clients the country of scope.
  • Overseeing the implementation and achievement of the corporate business objectives and strategies.
  • Developing and maintaining direct and successful relationships with all relevant stakeholders (Vendors/ Partners) across the country of scope.
  • Ensuring Logicom’s Compliance and Governance policies as well as those of Logicom’s Resellers Partners and Vendors, are always adhered to.
  • Ensure the Company is in a leading market share position for the Brands/ Vendors under management.
  • Establishing adequate coverage for the country of scope (designing and executing channel coverage and expansion plans, engaging and supporting of local stakeholders including strategic Channel Partners, Vendors, and the Logicom Internal Teams).
  • Assuming the overall responsibility of the Company’s Accounts Receivables (AR) and Inventory, and maintaining a healthy DSO and WoS, in line with the Company’s guidelines, for the Partners and Brands/ Vendors under management.
  • Growing, enabling, and retaining the Team and driving high performance through leadership and continuous Team inspiration and motivation.
  • Developing, executing, and maintaining sales management disciplines, including periodic pipeline/ funnel reviews and forecast, and business review cadence.
  • Ensuring the optimum utilization of the Company’s systems, platforms, and business tools, including CRM, e-Commerce, and others as and whenever applicable.
  • Collaborating internally with other Logicom Business Units to build and rollout cross-selling and up-selling strategies and initiatives, as and whenever applicable.
  • Supervising the design and execution of effective and advanced marketing plans, in line with both the Vendors’ and Logicom’s marketing strategies, policies and guidelines.
  • Ensuring efficient and streamlined execution of the sales operations.
  • Continuously monitoring competition/ competitive landscape and developing/ proposing competing strategies.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Over 10 years’ experience in the ICT industry, of which at least 5 years covering Bahrain market/ ecosystems. Experience in ICT Distribution is essential.
  • Over 5 years’ experience in managerial and sales leadership positions.
  • Degree in Business, Management, Finance, Technology, or a related field.
  • Master’s degree or other post-secondary degrees will be a plus.
  • Ability to own, understand and manage complete P&L statement.
  • In-depth understanding of the following business areas: Accounting and Finance, Sales and Marketing, Logistics, Sales Operations and HR.
  • Experience in managing large scale, channel ecosystems.
  • Capacity to operate in a fast paced, complex, and challenging business environment.
  • Robust knowledge and understanding of Compliance and Corporate governance.
  • Strong and clear ability to build, present and execute on strategic business planning, both with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Capacity to successfully identify and resolve challenges and problems.
  • Verbal and written fluency in English is a prerequisite.

Remuneration

A remuneration package will be offered to the successful candidate in line with the Company’s compensation scheme and based on the qualifications and experience.

PRE-EMPLOYMENT CANDIDATE PRIVACY NOTICE FOR MEDICAL ASSESSMENT BEFORE HIRING

You agree that subject to the completion of the recruitment process and provided that you receive a conditional offer for employment, you will go through a Fit-For-Work assessment by the Company’s Doctor. The Doctor defines the medical tests needed and performs the examination. You will need to sign a Data Privacy consent with the Company Doctor. The Company Doctor will provide a Fit-For-Work assessment with possible comments to the Company. This assessment will be one of the elements taken into consideration for providing a final offer. Other elements include but are not limited of, verification of the educational certifications, the references, and the work permits (if applicable).

Logicom will keep the Fit-For-Work assessment as part of your HR records if your Employment Contract is signed. If the Employment Contract is not signed, the Fit-For-Work assessment will be destroyed upon such confirmation.
