Job Overview

MN Limassol Water Co Ltd is currently looking for an Electrical/ Instrument Maintenance Technician.

The successful candidate will undergo on the job training and have the following duties and responsibilities:

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Carrying out proactive and reactive maintenance on electrical/ electronic equipment such as motors, dosing pumps, electric actuators, instruments, sensors etc.
  • Installing and configuring of new electrical/instrument equipment.
  • Being able to read and understand basic electric diagrams and equipment manuals and follow instructions for fault-finding and repairs.
  • Working as part of the maintenance team and carrying out duties as requested by the Maintenance Foreman/Supervisor.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Certificate in Electrical/Electronics.
  • Experience working in a similar industrial environment, preferably in manufacturing, process, or chemical industries.
  • Hands-on/practical skills.
  • Be able to work with multi skilled technical teams.
  • Have analytical skills and be able to take fast decisions.
  • Good knowledge of English (spoken and written) is essential.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Flexible and adaptable to the needs of a 24/7 operating plant.
  • ETEK and EMS license holders will be preferred.

The Electrical / Instrument Engineer Supervisor

You agree that subject to the completion of the recruitment process and provided that you receive a conditional offer for employment, you will go through a Fit-For-Work assessment by the Company’s Doctor. The Doctor defines the medical tests needed and performs the examination. You will need to sign a Data Privacy consent with the Company Doctor. The Company Doctor will provide a Fit-For-Work assessment with possible comments to the Company. This assessment will be one of the elements taken into consideration for providing a final offer. Other elements include but are not limited of, verification of the educational certifications, the references, and the work permits (if applicable).

Logicom will keep the Fit-For-Work assessment as part of your HR records if your Employment Contract is signed. If the Employment Contract is not signed, the Fit-For-Work assessment will be destroyed upon such confirmation.
