Job Overview
As a Cybersecurity Analyst within the Business Consulting Services (BCS) Unit, you will play a vital role in ensuring the security and resilience of our clients' digital assets. This position involves supporting the Security Operations Center (SOC) while conducting comprehensive cybersecurity analyses. As part of our dynamic Team, you'll be actively involved in identifying and mitigating potential risks, enhancing security measures, and providing expert guidance to fortify our clients' cybersecurity postures.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Conducting thorough cybersecurity analyses, focusing on various industry sectors where information security is critical, encompassing internal and external assessments, as well as supporting red teaming engagements.
- Simulating and analysing security incidents to evaluate response mechanisms, offering insights and recommendations for improving incident response protocols.
- Monitoring and performing comprehensive assessments of client systems, networks, and applications, identifying vulnerabilities, risks, and areas for improvement.
- Conducting risk assessments using industry best practices and security standards, analysing IT operations, systems, and applications to propose enhancements.
- Managing day-to-day activities related to client projects within the cybersecurity domain.
- Collaborating with internal Teams to design and implement advanced cybersecurity protection mechanisms, contributing cybersecurity expertise and knowledge.
- Presenting key observations, risks, and recommendations to senior management and other relevant stakeholders.
- Staying abreast of the latest trends, emerging technologies, and evolving threats in the cybersecurity landscape, providing informed recommendations and guidance.
- Serving as a trusted advisor to clients, offering expert insights and recommendations to enhance their overall cybersecurity posture.
- Developing and delivering comprehensive reports, presentations, and training materials to effectively communicate findings, recommendations, and best practices to clients.
- Supporting business development initiatives by actively participating in client meetings, contributing to proposal development, and showcasing our cybersecurity capabilities to potential clients.
Skills & Qualification
- Minimum of 1 year of professional experience in Information Security, specializing as a Cybersecurity Analyst or in a related role.
- Holds a degree (BSc and/or MSc) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Information Security.
- Familiarity with industry-recognized certifications in Cybersecurity would be advantageous.
- Organizational and technical knowledge in the cybersecurity field, in applying relevant security standards and frameworks, such as ISO 27001, will be considered an advantage.
- Passion for consulting work, strong teamwork skills, focus, commitment, and a quick learning ability.
- Technical background in the implementation and assessment of security controls.
- Ability to navigate and contribute effectively in a fast-paced and dynamically changing cybersecurity environment.
- Excellent proficiency in both written and spoken Greek and English languages.
